In 2014, the process of improving purchasing management, with the implementation and calculation of gains rates achieved in the negotiations on purchases of goods and services by ONS has continued. As a result of negotiations undertaken in procurement this year, it was possible to obtain an economy of R$ 5.5 million, of which R$ 1.5 million refer to the purchase of goods and R $ 4.0 million relates is directed to the acquisition of services.
This year, the building facilities of ONS in Florianopolis and Recife received LEED certification in the categories Silver and Bronze, respectively. This certification for green building has the management assumptions: energy efficiency, better utilization of water and land conservation focusing on equipment without wear and operating at full capacity.
