It an assignment of ONS, established in Article 3 of ANEEL Resolution 281 of 1999, the preparation of opinions for access to basic network and other transmission facilities (DIT) of the Brazilian Interconnected Power System.

The access process to the transmission system is set in Module 3 of the Grid Procedures, where all the steps are detailed, instructions, information and studies to be conducted to its viability.

Figure 3 summarizes the access activities in 2014, in which we highlight the issue of 79 opinions and 90 revisions.

Also in that year 1491 equivalent access documents were drafted, 548 of those, for technical qualification purposes the New Energy Auction A-3 held in June, and 943 for the Reserve Energy Auction held in October. The 2014 Reserve Energy Auction was the first that included the participation of photovoltaic solar power projects. Thus, among the issued documents, 284 were for this type of renewable source.

55 Access Information were also included, documents regulated by Normative Resolutions ANEEL 343/2008, No. 390/2009, No. 391/2009 and No. 412/2010, which are designed to provide Aneel technical information about the impact on the system transfers resulting from power plants connection, for the purpose of obtaining new licenses or existing change.
