In 2014,  revisions in Summary Management Discussion FT 2016 Olympic Games the reportwere performed, which consolidates the studies and analysis to increase the reliability of electric service to the State of Rio de Janeiro for the 2016 Olympic Games.

Still that year, by the request of the International Olympic Committee (IOC), a resilience study was conducted to meet in Rio de Janeiro during the period of the Games, which examined the effects of double loss for the city of Rio de Janeiro during the event to adopt the necessary measures in order to minimize their potential impacts.

Also noteworthy is the participation of ONS in routine meetings of the Energy Group of the Olympic Public Authority (APO) to analyze the aspects of energy supply for the Games, and the realization of an event at ONS with Olympic Broadcasting Services (OBS).
