The ONS move to new building facilities in Rio de Janeiro, Recife and Florianopolis occurred in 2013, initiated the Project of Building Management, which aims to centrally manage the buildings in these localities, seeking economies of scale and greater quality in services.

Facilities services were bid to support the management of buildings, modality that links different categories of services to a single provider.

The new buildings have automated management and LEED certification (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certification for sustainable construction, characteristics that require different management.
