In 2013, work began on the implementation project of the tool "Portal de Compras", which aims to improve and add automation in all stages of the procurement and contracting services of the ONS, as well as developing control mechanisms and contract and suppliers management, enabling standardization, economy and monitoring of the supply chain.

The full implementation of the Portal, which will be in 2014, will add still other benefits such as: tracking of process flows of purchases of goods and services for internal users, active follow-up with suppliers, the possibility of deployment of electronic auction and guarantee of greater savings in the purchase process of goods and services.
