In the year 2013, technical advice from about 1800 projects of Measurement System for Billing (SMF) and commissioning reports from around the free energy market in the Brazilian electricity sector were analyzed and issued. In addition, about 1,100 documents relating to technical requirements of measurement for billing were analyzed. The 1st National Workshop on Measurement Technology for Billing, to which attended Abinee, manufacturers of meters and CCEE was performed.

In December there has been the 2nd Meeting of the Measurement Committee composed of the CCEE, ONS, agents and industry associations which aim is to seek simplifications on the SMF requirements.
